NCBiotech's Agriculture Sector Development team is guided by an Advisory Council comprised of 24 leaders in the agriculture industry and education.

  • National AgTech Forum

    In 2021, NCBiotech is partnering with AgLaunch and AgStart to develop a monthly event series for industry leaders and professionals featuring experts in the ag tech sector. While virtual, each includes a short program of speakers including Q&A with the audience.  Once we're back in-person, the program will be followed by a networking reception.

  • Crop Commercialization Program

    Project convening partners to conduct research including trait identification, development, grower engagement and market introduction to improve and commercialize vegetable, fruit and feed crops in North Carolina. Learn more

  • Ponytail Ag Campaign

    Four of North Carolina's key agricultural partners are coming together in a collaborative effort to highlight the contributions women have made to the agriculture industry in North Carolina. NCBiotech will be working with N.C. Department of Agriculture & Consumer ServicesN.C. Farm Bureau, and Feed the Dialogue N.C. on a social media campaign.

  • NC Ag Tech Economic Growth Report

    In 2021 this will become an annual report providing an economic growth snapshot of the ag tech industry in North Carolina, that charts the state's ag tech company and technology developments. It will be released in August each year.
